Polish Fall Picnic - Our Last Outdoor Event for the Year

Annual Polish Fall Picnic took place on September 13th, 2015 at the Concord Community Park in Concord. As usual, highly anticipated event of the year, organized by EBPAA has been another success story. The weather was hot, the greenery of the park was little brownish this year because of the drought, but the relaxing atmosphere of happy crowd was the most important part of our day spent in the park. And of course, participating in Holy Mass celebrated by Fr. Alexander, Fr. Mariusz and deacon Witold was the most important spiritual feast that morning. This was our last outdoor gathering organized by the East Bay Polish American Association this year.
There are no words which could describe group of friends, who spent countless hours of their own time and money, working as volunteers at our picnics and many other events for the Polish Community Center in Martinez. Their devotion, volunteerism and most important, their big hearts are beyond anything we could say here. That of course includes our best Czech friends Jana, Tereza i Pavel Novosad. We are very proud and humble to be their Slavic family.
We all, owe them...BIG SMILES AND HUGE THANK YOU!!!
We also would like to thank YOU, the participants for supporting us in what we do in order to preserve and maintain our Chapel and Polish Center in Martinez. Without your support we would not be able to do our part. So, THANK YOU and...see you in the park next year at the Spring Picnic!
